L`Oreal Superior Preference
As my day for retouching my hair approaches, I thought I’d talk about what I have been coloring my hair with for 8 years: L’Oreal.
I started doing my own hair long time ago. From blow drying to hair dying, I have done my own lots and lots of times because I have a hard time trusting hairdressers. So before I decided to color my hair for the first time, I did my homework and researched everything about what was available, what worked and what didn’t when doing it yourself at home. It might not be the best thing to do, but to be doing myself for so many years, I think I have done a pretty good job.
So here is one of the hair color products I use and what I think of it.
What it claims to do: It is a “Fade-defying color that stays beautiful and shiny for up to eight weeks.”
What it does: L’Oreal Preference does the job for me. The smell is kind of strong though, maybe it is due to the ammonia. It also provides a special conditioning treatment that should be applied weekly. The conditioner is great and it smells really good, but it doesn’t moisturize my hair as much as it used to maybe four years ago. The color is “rich and sophisticated” and it does make the hair look lighter each time I use the conditioner.
NOTE: This is only my advise from personal use and experience; not an advertisement. I’m just trying to share it with the Summer Haired community.
